LPC Tag Project w/ Selman Living Laboratory

  • Selman Living Laboratory North of Woodward, OK (map)

Selman Living Laboratory (SLL), north of Woodward, Ok for the weekend of March 21-22.  This will be a great opportunity to meet our fellow QF members from across the state, network and brainstorm about conservation in the State and get our "hands dirty" helping out at the SLL by hanging Lesser Prairie Chicken fence tags before breeding season.

The SLL is a unique 320 acre research station and laboratory owned by the University of Central Oklahoma.  There are many activities available to explore including:

        - Astronomy Observation
        - Exploring the property's rolling hills and prairies
        - Bird Watching (Its prime Quail Country!)
        - Roasting marshmallows by the Bonfire.

You are welcome to come for the day or stay overnight on Saturday.  There is lodging for up to 30 people, kitchen and meeting facilities on site.  You can see pictures and get more info about the SLL at their website,   http://www.uco.edu/cms/sll/index.asp.
